Referral Partner Payment & Commission Policy

Updated 2026-11-02 · Agreed commission, transparent records and country-appropriate payment arrangements.

10%–20% agreed commission or a written custom profit arrangement.

Keep your agreed share when collecting from the client, or request a payout from AP Tech when the client pays us.

AP Tech-sent USD payouts have a $50 minimum; direct retention does not.

1. Commission and custom profit

Referral Partners can earn 10%–20% commission depending on the project's type, value and scope. The exact percentage, calculation basis and payment arrangement must be agreed in writing before the project is confirmed. 20% is not an automatic rate for every project.

Under the Custom Profit Model, AP Tech confirms its development quotation and the partner may agree a higher price with their client. The agreed difference is the partner's margin. A commission and a custom margin are not both payable on the same amount unless expressly agreed.

2. Option A — Keep your commission

With prior agreement, you may collect the project payment from your client, retain your agreed commission or custom profit, and transfer the remainder to AP Tech Agency. Notify our Partnership Team of each collection and provide the project reference, total collected, amount retained and amount remitted so Accounts can reconcile it.

Example: a $1,000 client payment with an agreed 20% commission leaves $200 with the partner and $800 payable to AP Tech Agency. Amounts retained directly must not also be requested as a separate payout. The $50 minimum does not apply to this arrangement.

3. Option B — Receive commission from AP Tech

When the client pays AP Tech Agency directly, we calculate the commission under the agreed project terms after the relevant payment is received and verified. Instalment payments earn commission only on the eligible amount received under the agreement.

Payout methods are confirmed individually. Availability depends on the partner's country, account eligibility, applicable banking requirements and the payment provider. Listing or requesting a method does not guarantee it can be used.

4. Minimum payout

The minimum for a commission payout sent by AP Tech Agency is $50 USD. Smaller eligible USD balances carry forward until this threshold is reached; they are not forfeited simply because they are below the minimum.

The self-service withdrawal form handles USD balances. For another currency, contact the Partnership Team to agree and record the USD-equivalent threshold, conversion rate, fees and method before processing. Different currencies are not added together without an agreed conversion.

5. Records and account security

Confirmed projects, agreed rates, eligible payments, commission, direct-retention arrangements and outstanding amounts must be recorded. Where portal features are available, partners can review their own referrals, commission and payout requests and communicate with the team. Arrangements not supported by the portal are handled by Partnership and Accounts with written confirmation.

Keep project and payment references accurate. Never send passwords, login codes, full card details or unrelated identity documents in a payout note or chat. Provide only the recipient details requested for the agreed payment method.

6. Fees, timing and payment confirmation

Clarify processing fees, intermediary-bank charges, conversion rates and who bears them before a transfer. AP Tech will confirm a practical payout arrangement after review; no universal payment deadline or international method is guaranteed.

A payout request is not a completed payment. Accounts records the final transfer reference and status after payment confirmation. Commission remains subject to the relevant client payment and the agreed project terms. Use only payment methods permitted for the parties and transaction.

7. Refunds, cancellations and corrections

Refunds, chargebacks, reversed client payments or cancelled scope can affect the commission attributable to that payment. Any adjustment must be explained and recorded against the relevant project; funds under a genuine payment dispute may be held while it is reviewed.

If a partner already retained or received an amount affected by a later adjustment, AP Tech and the partner must reconcile it in writing. Do not deduct an unagreed amount from another project. Duplicate payouts, false referrals and inaccurate payment claims are not eligible.

8. Referral ownership and agreed terms

A submitted referral is not automatically an approved commission claim. AP Tech reviews duplicate leads, existing client relationships and project eligibility before confirming referral ownership and terms. Ask for confirmation before promising a client a discount, delivery date or service scope.

Project-specific written terms govern the agreed rate, scope, basis and collection arrangement. This policy does not silently change historical commission entries, existing partner rates or already confirmed project agreements. Future changes should be communicated before they apply to new work.

9. Payment assistance and disputes

Contact AP Tech Agency's Partnership & Business Development Team through partner Support or the website contact page if you need a suitable payment method or disagree with a record. Include the project or payout reference and a concise description; Accounts and Partnership will review the supporting records.

Until a collection or payout arrangement is confirmed, do not assume a particular payment provider, fee or exchange rate is approved.
